Rachel Augudaku (“Abie”) Jones Greene
February 26, 1921 – October 31, 2012
The family of the late Rachel A. Greene extends expressions of profound thanks and appreciation to all well-wishers and supporters who in many and sundry ways too numerous to mention, graciously and generously joined us in mourning her passing and celebrating her glorious home-going after a long and fruitful sojourn in this material world. We are comforted and strengthened in our distress at her passing by the many lives she touched in a positive way, directly and indirectly, as manifested by and through your multiple expressions and outpourings of solidarity and support.
We give thanks to the Almighty for a long life richly lived and consummated. We continue to pray for the eternal peaceful repose of the soul of our dearly departed matriarch and all those beloved departed who have gone before and since. We pray also that the Good Lord will look upon us all with love and mercy, and continue to favor our every endeavor with His blessings.
