CITY
OF NEWARK TO HOST LIBERIAN INDEPENDENCE DAY GAMES
Newark,
NJ - March 15, 2008 - Eli Barrolle, National President of
Mighty Barrolle Sports Associations (BSA), and Philip K. Klah
Sr., National President of the Invincible Eleven Majestic
Associations (IE), announced that the City of Newark will
host the Liberian Independence Day Games celebration on July
26, 2008.
The celebration will be a perfect fit with a myriad of sporting
events taking place throughout the city, in addition to attracting
a multitude of people from all over the United States. This
inaugural soccer, basketball and kickball events are aimed
at entertaining, educating, and empowering all who participate.
It will attract dignitaries, government officials, and die-hard
fans of Mighty Barrolle and Invisible Eleven Sports Association
from far and near.
Revenue generated from these sporting events will be used
to help fund programs gear toward the rehabilitation and demobilization
of young fighters who participated in the civil war, Mighty
Barrolle, and Invisible Eleven Sports Association in Liberia
Newark Municipal City Councilman and Essex County Freeholder-At-
Large Donald M. Payne Jr. has been an avid supporter of Mighty
Barrole and Invincible Eleven programs. "Events like
this are about more than entertainment," Payne said,
"they encourage hard work and bring communities closer
together."
